Based at Exeter Airport in Devon, Hunter Flying Ltd formally came into existence in 2006, having previously been known as Hunter Flying Club Ltd since 2002. We
- Have an approved A8-20 operating licence, issued by the Civil Aviation
Authority (CAA). This allows us to operate ex-military jet aircraft on the civilian register.
- Have CAP 632 approval.
- Our chief engineer also has E4 and M5 approval from the CAA.
Hunter Flying currently operate seven airworthy aircraft, with three under restoration or refurbishment. All those airworthy are available for airshow work.
Lead by Chief Engineer John Sparks, Hunter Flying's team are all volunteers with enthusiasm and expertise available to keep this Classic Thoroughbred airworthy.
Hunter Flying is able to undertake all aspects of servicing on the Hunter.
Our stores facility may not be large but is comprehensive, try us first for that required component.
If we have not got it in stock, we may be able to acquire it for you.
Visitors are always welcome at our facility to either drool over the aircraft or chat about specific requirements for the up keep of their own either flying or static
aircraft.

We are able offer flight training and conversion courses by our QFI's on to the Hunter and being a short distance from the uncluttered south England airspace, we are well placed to offer flight training tailored to suit an individuals specific requirement's. Our client list is expanding with inquires received daily from civil and military Hunter operators worldwide.
